All-American beauty Angela Lindvall was born in
Midwest City, Oklahoma, but raised in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
She began her road to modelling at 14, after a scout discovered
her in a Kansas City fashion show. Then, after finishing high-school,
Angela moved to New York and hit the glam world with full force.
Soon after, Angela landed the cover of ITALIAN VOGUE, which
catapulted her success to the next level. Since then, she has
been in constant demand for fashion editorials and covers for
magazines such as W, AMERICAN VOGUE, ENGLISH VOGUE, JAPANESE
VOGUE, FRENCH VOGUE and i-D.
Angela has been an advertisers favorite being featured in press
campaigns for design houses including PRADA, MIU MIU, JIL SANDER,
MISSONI, TSE, CALVIN KLEIN, GUCCI, VALENTINO, CHANEL, TOMMY
HILFIGER and CERRUTI. While at 5'11", Angela has taken the
runway circuit to the max.
Angela was signed to a multi-year contract with cosmetic house
COVER-GIRL through 2003.
Angela was nominated, in 2000, for the VH-1/VOGUE Model of the
Year fashion award. While in 2001 was selected as one of the 12
top models for the coveted PIRELLI calendar, photographed by
Mario Testino.
Recently, Angela has explored her talents outside of modelling.
In her first experience in acting, Angela has a starring role in
Roman Coppola's premiere film CQ, which debuted at a special
midnight screening at the Cannes Film festival and will appear
in theaters for summer 2003. Angela is also working on COLLAGE,
a magazine that embodies environmental issues, social changes,
science, and art/pop culture, all of which are designed to reach
out to the youth of our society. |
